We welcome all women who value our Mission and are committed to creating an inclusive environment. We are a group of professional women working together to make a positive impact on the community, and in the process, we also impact each other.

Membership Commitments

  • New Member Training: Participate in an intensive half-year training program to prepare for your JLSA journey.
  • Meetings & Events: Commit to attending General Membership Meetings and training sessions.
  • Volunteering: Complete community service shifts and support our major fundraisers, like Holiday Olé Market.
  • Financial: Fulfill financial commitments including annual dues and support for our fundraising initiatives.

Steps to Joining JLSA

  1. Meet Eligibility Criteria
    • You must be at least 22 years of age by June 1, 2025 (no maximum age to join)
    • Reside in Bexar County or its contiguous counties (or will you at the time of admittance)
    • Demonstrate an interest in voluntarism and a commitment to community service
    • Show an interest in developing your potential for voluntary community participation

  3. RSVP and Attend a Prospective Member Event (Optional)
    • These information sessions provide an opportunity for prospective members to meet League members; learn more about the history, mission, and values of the League; and better understand the membership requirements and application process.
