Jackets for Joy
In San Antonio, thousands of children and adults face the winter months without a warm jacket. The Junior League of San Antonio believes no one should go without this basic necessity. A warm coat provides not only physical comfort but also the hope and confidence needed to thrive at school, at work, and in the community.
To meet this critical need, the Junior League of San Antonio developed Jackets for Joy, a program focused on providing warmth and dignity to our neighbors. We collect new and gently used coats and, through strategic partnerships with local nonprofits, ensure they are distributed efficiently to children and individuals experiencing homelessness or financial hardship. This initiative is a core part of our mission to create a measurable impact through trained volunteers.
